    Event Description:
The Reynoldsburg Area Chamber of Commerce presents its first "Breakfast Bytes" on Thursday, September 19, 2019  beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Comfort Suites East Broad at 270 (70 Chris Perry Lane).  Comfort Suites is graciously providing the room - and pastries and coffee for the event.

Guest speakers will be Ashley Miller, RN, MSN, PCCN, CNL and Candace Miller RN, BSN, President and Co-Founder of Local Outreach Volunteers (LOV) - a 501c3 non-profit that provides outreach services in Columbus to the homeless and those trapped in the world of sex trafficking.  They typically serve 30-60 individuals each weekend and help meet their basic needs of food, water, clothing, hygiene and seasonal items.
They collaborate with other non-profit groups and agencies to assist in raising awareness, sharing resources, information and services to those on the streets of Columbus.
Ashley and Candace have worked over the last five years to get human trafficking into the hospital policies; as well as educate staff at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, several regional partner hospitals, and various other groups throughout Ohio, about human trafficking.  Their goal for this presentation is to provide information about what human trafficking is, how to recognize potential victims in the community, and what steps individuals can take to help fight against modern day slavery.
