What is Leadership Reynoldsburg?

We are a nonprofit, civic education and leadership development organization. Our program for current and future leaders is designed to examine issues facing the Reynoldsburg area and to encourage positive action. We believe that community leaders can be developed, that leadership is a lifelong endeavor and strong leadership is vital to a strong Reynoldsburg.

What is the Purpose of the Program?

Our program are designed to educate, engage and motivate individuals to assume community leadership roles, thereby strengthening communities, resolving issues, and developing new initiative which ultimately improve the quality of life in the Reynoldsburg area.

How is this Accomplished?

Each year a class of adults is selected to be part of our Class Program Year. The members are selected from all segments of our county reflecting the diversity in Reynoldsburg. They attend sessions (one day a month) from October through June to learn about their personal leadership styles and to examine issues facing the community in a variety of interesting ways. Each class also undertakes a Class Project to put their talents and knowledge to good use.

Benefits for participants are designed to be:

  • Increased leadership skills, advancing leadership goals within the community, workplace, schools and in churches
  • A greater knowledge of the Reynoldsburg area, its organizations and its leaders, along with a network of colleagues to help benefit both the community and the individual

Benefits for the community are designed to be:
  • An increasing group of committed community and workplace leaders. When individual leadership skills are developed, there is a pool that can be tapped for representatives among business, government, school and civic organizations.

Commitment

True leaders are serious about their commitment. Your commitment as an applicant to fully participate in the program is essential. Class members are expected to attend all sessions, unless there is an emergency. Completion of a group project is also required.

The tuition of the nine month program is $350 which covers all costs including meals. Tuition should be paid in full by the first session.
