RACC Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is comprised of a diverse group of people, from all types of businesses.  Some are small business owners, others work in larger corporations.  The most important thing to remember is they all have the same dedicated goal in mind– to fulfill the mission of the Chamber through a myriad of programming opportunities designed especially for you the investor of the Chamber.  They are all volunteers.  Without their unselfish service to our organization, we would be unable to accomplish those ambitious efforts in the successful style to which we have become accustomed. 

Below you will meet some of the Directors who serve you.

Jan Hills - President - Jan has been the President/CEO of the Reynoldsburg Area Chamber of Commerce for 20 years. A Notre Dame University graduate of the Institute of Organization Management in 2001, Hills works closely with her Board of Directors in all aspects of Chamber management including but not limited to membership development, retention, and programming. In 2005 she completed the Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute (JADOLI), a part of the Excellence in Public Service series where she was named class representative to serve on the JADOLI Board of Directors.
               
Jan Hills Hills was awarded Professional of the Year for Smaller Chambers in 2009 by the State Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio (CCEO). She attained her CCEO-AP (Accredited Professional) designation from CCEO in 1999, and again in 2004 and 2009. Hills serves on the Board of CCEO as the Vice Chair of Professional Development. She has served as a Committee member of many conferences and was chair of the 2001 CCEO Annual State Conference. She is also a member of the Central Ohio Council of Chambers.

                Hills currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Methodist Eldercare and is the Treasurer of the Reynoldsburg Crisis Response Team. In one of her many past lives you could find Hills serving as Southeast Co-Chair for Franklin County United Way, Relay for Life, Past President of the Reynoldsburg Republican Woman's Club, Treasurer of the Reynoldsburg Republican Club , Girl Scout Leader and Cheerleading Coach for Reynoldsburg Youth Football. Political involvement is a passion and in her spare time you will find Hills volunteering on many political campaigns.
Married to Bill, they have two daughters Julie & Kaitie who are married and have blessed them with three grand dogs and two grand cats.

Barth Cotner - Chairman

Mary Hudson - 1st Vice Chairman - Mary is Executive Director of the Reynoldsburg Visitors & Community Activities Bureau, and has served in that position for 20 years. The Visitors Bureau is a destination marketing organization with a goal of bringing visitors to Reynoldsburg and also promoting Reynoldsburg to a local, regional and national audience.

She is currently President of the Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival and REDI (Reynoldsburg Economic Development, Inc). She serves as Vice President of the Reynoldsburg Community Association and Secretary of the Reynoldsburg Republican Women's Club.

One of her greatest joys is the community service opportunities that she receives being a member of the Reynoldburg-Pickerington Rotary Club.

In her spare time she enjoys walking, golf, her three delightful grandsons, and spending time with her husband who is retired.

Phil Reese - 2nd Vice Chairman - Born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio, Phil has a passion for Central Ohio and could not imagine living anywhere else. After graduating from Lancaster High School, Phil enlisted in the Ohio National Guard and still serves in that capacity. Graduating Ohio University Athens with a Bachelor Degree in Business Logistics, he used his education to receive his Officer commission, graduating with honors from the Ohio Military Academy, and took a full-time position in the Ohio National Guard. After working 15 years with the Guard, he met his wife, Maria and joined her in her business, Small Business Payroll Services as Vice President of Sales and Operations. They focus on providing exemplary customer service, striving to assist local professionals succeed, perform to their full potential, meet their goals and realize their dreams.

He lives in neighboring Pickerington, Ohio with his wife, Maria, their son Tyler and their stunning daughter, Danielle, Phil's personal hero. Danielle has Type 1 Diabetes, faces aversion every day and has taught him how to always view the positive side of life. In his spare time he enjoys family activities and loves to golf.

Phil has been a member of the Reynoldsburg Area Chamber of Commerce for 6 years and this will be his second year as 2nd Vice Chairman. He is also Chairperson for the Ambassador Committee which provides him the opportunity to meet business professionals new to Reynoldsburg and do whatever is necessary to support existing members. He looks forward to the opportunity to work with and support other community minded individuals who sit on our Chamber’s board. Together, we can make positive contributions to our business community that promote free enterprise and develop our business and economic environment.
 

Molly Wefel - Secretary - Molly M. Wefel Molly is co-owner, with her husband Peter, of The Ink Well, a printing and marketing company. They have been in business since 1992. She has been active with the Chamber since 1994 as a member, past president and board member. She has been involved with the Taste of Reynoldsburg since its inception and as well as other Chamber fund raising events. "The Taste of Reynoldsburg is an event that not only benefits Chamber members, but brings the Chamber together with the community. Despite all of the work involved, it's always a pleasure to see the pride in our community that the Taste of Reynoldsburg inspires." Molly is a graduate of Miami University (B.A.) and Thunderbird School of Global Management (M.B.A.) Her main interests (more of a passion) are animal rescue and having the opportunity, after many years, to "get back in the saddle" and start riding again.

Norm Brusk - Treasurer - Norm Brusk has recently been appointed treasurer of the Chamber. He has served two terms as Director. He and his wife Susan have a law practice in Reynoldsburg. As a longtime Reynoldsburg resident, Norm has been involved in a number of civic, community and service organizations. He is Chairman of the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals, member and past treasurer of the Reynoldsburg-Pickerington Rotary Club, and past president of the Slate Ridge Civic Association., as well as involvement in other organizations. He has been a fixture at the Reynoldsburg Council meetings and participates in many volunteer projects throughout the community.

Norm came to Reynoldsburg in 1976 when he joined Borden Inc. in the Safety and Health field. He and Susan entered Capital Law School as their mid-life crises in 1988 and upon graduation in 1992, founded Brusk & Brusk, Attorneys at Law. They practice in the areas of family and elder law, bankruptcy, and probate. Upon leaving Borden, Norm formed H&S 2000, Inc., a health and safety consulting company.

Norm and Susan are the parents of two adult sons, Steve who lives in Washington, D.C. and Kenneth, who lives with his wife Beth in Worthington.

Catherine Roebuck - Director thru 2013 - Catherine Roebuck is the Business Development / Marketing representative for First Service Federal Credit Union. Catherine graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and has over 12 years of experience in the field of marketing within the financial services industry.

First Service Federal Credit Union is open to everyone who lives, works, attends schools or worships in Franklin County. First Service has 5 branch locations, including Reynoldsburg (at the corner of Main and Waggoner). First Service offers a wide range of financial products and services and has been serving members in the community for over 50 years.

Catherine joined the Reynoldsburg Chamber Board in 2010 and serves as a member of the Ambassador committee. She also participates in the Rotary Club of Canal Winchester and serves on its Board of Directors.
Kerri Beany Foulks - Director thru 2013 - Kerri joined the Chamber board in 2011. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, she practiced social work in Columbus, and was a program coordinator at an MR/DD facility near Washington DC for several years. She went on to work in Child Support Enforcement in Franklin County, and then as a software tester/designer for the State Office of Child Support (MIS) department.

She joined her family business, Beany’s Auto Service Center, in 2007 when the business moved to the current Brice Road location. She acts as the business manager, marketing director and customer service advocate at the shop, making the experience of auto repair more ‘user friendly’ for all customers, but especially for women consumers.

Kerri is involved in the DamesBond women networking group, Key4Women, is a member of the National Association of Professional Women , and is involved in other local chambers of commerce.

Kerri lives in Fairfield County with her husband and teenage son. Together they follow college football, travel, and cook.
Shanley Farris - Director thru 2013
Pragya Kharel - Director thru 2013 - Pragya is co-owner at Total Technology Solutions, a technology services company. She oversees the marketing and sales activities along with her husband Al, who is the president and CEO of the company She is a graduate of Franklin University with degrees in Marketing and Human Resources Management.

Pragya enjoys being a part of the Reynoldsburg Area Chamber of commerce, getting to connect with many business leaders and owners in the area, and volunteering for various fundraisers and activities organized by the Chamber. She is an active member of the Ambassador, Taste of Reynoldsburg, and the Silent Auction committees. She is eager to help anyone who is interested in becoming active in the Chamber or participate in any of our programs.

At home, she enjoys cooking, listening to music and learning new arts and crafts. She has a deep interest for history and antiques and loves traveling. She enjoys being active, hiking, running, and most recently doing Zumba.

Originally from Nepal, Al and Pragya have made Reynoldsburg their home in the US.
