Community Profile
Reynoldsburg is a diverse and growing community
(32,069) population, (11.05 square miles)
located twelve miles east of Columbus, the state
capital of Ohio. It is located on the eastern
boundary of Franklin County, at the eastern edge
of Truro Township. It is a part of the
seven-county Columbus Metropolitan Area (population
1.37 million). The City incorporates
parts of three counties: Franklin in the center
and west, Licking to the east and Fairfield to
the south. Reynoldsburg is large enough to
provide superior amenities with small-town
service.

Accessibility: Reynoldsburg lies at the
geographical center of Ohio, within 500 miles of
52 percent of the U.S. population and economy
and is served by numerous state routes including
St. Rt. 16, 40 and 256, interstate route I-70,
and the Columbus Outer belt I-270. Rail service
is two miles north or two miles south. Port
Columbus is 15 minutes away. Reynoldsburg is
ideally situated with respect to state and

Quality Schools: Reynoldsburg is the home to one
high school, one junior high, two middle
schools, and six elementary schools. Building is
currently underway for the addition of a junior
high school.
Recreational Opportunities Abound: One of
Reynoldsburg’s crown jewels is the superb Parks
and Recreation Department. With six city parks
available and programming activities that are
designed to meet the needs of all ages, from
youth to seniors, one can always find something
to do. Reynoldsburg is also home to Blacklick
Woods, a Columbus Metro Park, which is a nature
preserve, and recreation area including a
four-mile walking/biking trail, and a par 72
golf course. Reynoldsburg offers a wide array of
recreational opportunities for the entire
family.
Shopping Opportunities: Quaint shops dot the Olde Reynoldsburg district while additional
shopping is available in the City. Several malls
are within a 20 minute drive of Reynoldsburg,
providing shoppers with a multitude of
fashionable stores to suit all shopping needs.
Quality of Life: The City offers excellent
community resources. The Reynoldsburg area has
approximately 40 places of worship, a free
public library, low utility rates and a great
location to live and work. Mt. Carmel East
Hospital serves Reynoldsburg and is within a
10-minute drive, while the renowned Columbus
Children’s Hospital is a 20-minute drive.
