Reynoldsburg Library

The Reynoldsburg Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 1402 Brice Road, is a cheerful, bustling facility with 19,805 square feet of public service area, including spaces for studying and reading. The Library’s collection includes about 170,000 adult, teen and juvenile books. Fiction materials include mysteries, sci-fi, westerns, graphic novels, and African-American authors. The library staff would be glad to connect you with a book or magazine you might enjoy or find useful.

There are presently nearly 7,000 DVD titles as well as thousands of music CD’s for your entertainment. The branch’s audio book collection grows each year with many in-demand titles on CD. Parents will be glad to find a variety of CD-ROM’s which make learning fun for their children. The library features forty Internet computers equipped with Microsoft Office software as well as Wi-fi service.

Customers may reserve or renew all varieties of library materials in person, by phone or at the “About You” feature at our web site, www.columbuslibrary.org.  The web site features “Electronic Resources,” a group of useful databases that library customers can access for free. Many of these can be used 24 hours a day from home or work with a library card login. You may find a “Great Read” there, a full text article from a magazine or journal, or even download an e-Book or audio book.

Friendly staff will be happy to answer your questions. Call 645-2ASK (2275). Year after year the library circulates well over 1 million items to tens of thousands of cardholders. Well over 600,000 people visited the branch last year and asked over 70,000 reference questions. They visit not only to borrow items, but to attend meetings, special events and library programs…such as our Summer Reading Club. The library can have information faxed from other branches. It provides copiers and computer printers. You can obtain a number of forms, register to vote, obtain social security number applications, apply for a Golden Buckeye card, and make copies of tax forms.

     The library’s story times include:

•     Baby Laptime (birth to 18 months)

•     Toddler Time (18-36 months)

•     Pre-school (3-6 years)

•     Family (evening)(families and their children 2-6 years old)
